Bandston · Privacy Policy
Bandston is a trivia game. It doesn't have accounts, doesn't ask you for any personal information, and doesn't send your scores anywhere. The only outside service it talks to is Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep the game free, and which collects an advertising identifier to do that.
Information you provide. None. Bandston has no sign-up, no profile, and no way to enter personal information — there's nothing for us to collect here.
Information collected automatically. Bandston uses Google AdMob to show ads. To do that, AdMob collects your device's advertising identifier and uses it to select and measure ads. We don't receive this identifier ourselves — it's collected directly by Google's SDK running inside the app.
Information stored only on your device. Your top 10 high scores are saved locally on your phone so you can see your best rounds. This never leaves your device, is never sent to us, and isn't visible to anyone but you.
The only third party involved in Bandston is Google AdMob, which serves the in-app ads. AdMob may work with its own network of advertising partners. Google's use of data collected through AdMob is governed by their own policies:
You can limit ad personalization or reset your advertising identifier at any time from your device settings (on Android, this is typically Settings → Google → Ads). You can also clear Bandston's locally stored high scores at any time from Settings → Apps → Bandston → Storage → Clear Data.
Bandston is a general-audience trivia game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and the app's only data collection (the AdMob advertising identifier, described above) is handled according to Google's own policies for age-appropriate ad serving.
We don't hold any of your data on our own servers — there isn't a "our servers" in this picture, since Bandston has none. Locally stored high scores persist on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Any data collected by AdMob is retained according to Google's own retention practices.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of Bandston after a change means you accept the updated policy.
